Networking is an essential skill for most business people to get out into the world to create and maintain business relationships. Many people find networking an uncomfortable and nerve racking experience. Introducing yourself to people you have never met before, not knowing how to start the conversation and keep it going or indeed escaping from the person who you have been stuck with since you arrived. Does this sound familiar?

There are many different reasons why people struggle with attending networking events, some are very nervous and indeed anxious, others lack confidence, some are sent by their employers and are not sure what they are expected to do or indeed how to get the best out of the event they are attending. Most people understand that networking is vital to meeting new contacts and catching up with past contacts but the whole process can be quite a time consuming chore and is therefore not executed successfully!

Whether you run your own business or work for someone else, this CD will help you to feel at ease and help you get the most out of the whole networking experience. Rachel Sweet recorded and produced this CD because she has met so many people at networking events who are passionate about their company, product or service but struggle to communicate their offerings to others. Rachel also feels that a lot of the people she meets are not maximizing their networking opportunities and embracing networking as a process within their business and therefore not getting their desired results.

For anyone running their own business and looking to increase their client base this cd is a must!!
From 'back to basics' tips like... the best way to describe your business, to agenda setting (e.g. What DO YOU want from the Networking meeting?), to how to deal with the conversation that is 'going nowhere'.   If you want referred business which then will lead to repeat business (and who doesn't) this cd explains the best way to make the most of your valuable time and will therefore increase your bottom line/profit! Can your business be profitable without information like this? I doubt it!

Rachel's cd works!  I run the recording studio where Rachel recorded her Successful Networking cd.  After listening to the tracks, we started networking and put her advice into practice.  As a result my business partner, Austin went to a social networking event.  He met Leila from a web/video company called The Lurex Lounge and invited them over to the studio for coffee.  We then came up with an audio track to promote their work, and they have produced this animation.

I believe a big reason why this video was created, was because we acted on the advice that Rachel gives on her Successful Networking CD.

I've been networking for years and found it a great reminder of what I should be doing!  For someone new into a company or following a promotion where networking is part of the role, it should be part of the induction tool kit - very informative, motivating and inspiring, excellent!

As we have come to expect from her, Rachel has grasped the issue of "networking for the nervous" and set out an easy to follow CD guide with plenty of great ideas and tips of how to use the networking environment to raise your company's profile and to generate more business.  Great piece of work.

I would rather stand in a crowded lecture theatre and deliver a talk than try to network.  Rachel's CD has helped to give me the confidence to approach this side of my work with more enthusiasm in future.  Thank you!
